[00:30.28]New proposals that would change all that

[00:33.41]What is the price that those individuals
[00:35.71]Have to pay for those opportunities
[00:37.54]Lack of employment rights
[00:39.06]Job insecurity often economic insecurity
[00:42.76]People find it very difficult to plan
[00:44.76]For the future to have access to mortgages
[00:47.57]If they're an agency worker
[00:48.99]We believe that they deserve

[00:55.27]Put agency workers in temporary work
[00:57.63]On a par with permanent employees
[00:59.95]On issues such as pay

[01:03.60]But it could leave companies
[01:05.26]Picking up hefty bills
[01:07.04]Our survey also demonstrates that

[01:10.06]Staffing costs are going to go up
[01:11.83]They can't afford to pay more workers

[01:15.46]The size of their workforce

[01:25.14]If this directive is approved
[01:26.63]It'll still take at least a year
[01:28.21]Before it's law here in the UK
[01:30.38]But if it does go ahead
[01:31.90]One worry is that more employers
[01:33.75]Will be put off using agency staff
