The Organizing Committee will accurately grasp the meaning and theme of the 7th CISM Military World Games (7th CWG), stick to the open concepts, scientific approaches and good style of work, spare no efforts to hold the Games as a military sports and culture event with world standard, Chinese characteristics, times connotation and comprehensive benefits. It will try to achieve the goal of the first-class organizing level and the top-rated competing scores. Meanwhile, it will play the role as a window of the CWG to spread Chinese culture and tell Chinese story to the world. The Organizing Committee adopts the innovation-driven idea, actively promotes the innovation of system and mechanism and the deep integration between the army and the people, and endows the Games with times connotation and historical imprints. Under the leadership of the Organizing Committee, the Games will be organized in a hardworking and thrifty manner by giving overall consideration to the requirements of the Games and the social and economic benefits. The working institutions and coordination mechanisms will be improved, the task list will be detailed and all the preparatory work will be advanced with high and supreme quality. The 7th CISM Military World Games Executive Commission was founded in Wuhan on the morning of July 5, 2017. The Executive Commission has 14 departments, including the General Affairs Dept., Human Resources Dept., Competition Dept., Venues Dept., Finance Dept., Marketing Dept., International Relations Dept., Media and Communication Dept., Major Events Dept., Integrated Logistics Support Dept., Information Technology Dept., Security Dept., Volunteers Dept. and Doping Control Center, to be responsible for the specific organization and implementation of the preparations for the Games and the daily work of the Executive Commission. The Executive Commission will make good preparations with high starting point, supreme quality, high standard and high return centering on the overall goal of “the first-class organizing level and the top-rated competing scores”. October 2015 The 7th CWG Organizing Committee was established in Beijing and the preparatory work started in an all-round way. January 5, 2017 The construction of 7th CWG Athletes’ Village started in Jiangxia District. February 20, 2017 The 7th CWG Executive Commission was established.
